This knife is
worthy of opening any rare bottle of wine. Corkscrews were added
to the Laguiole knives in about 1880 when the distribution of wine
in bottles, rather than in barrels, became popular.
Meticulously
handcrafted from olive wood, or horn and ebony. It has a stainless
steel blade and is fitted with a corkscrew and lever for simple
cork removal. A relatively new addition to the Laguiole ancient
line, the signature Laguiole bee has been given a sleek profile.
